paul   donate

It is very easy to allow visitors to your website to donate money to your cause; this page is a demonstration.

Note: this is just a demo, I don't actually want any of your money! See networkforgood to find a great charity who needs your help.

There are tens of millions of people who already have paypal and amazon accounts, so using their donate buttons work really well.

To allow existing or new PayPal users to donate, first create your own free PayPal account, then login and click "Sell" and then click "Donate" to create your nice little donate button. PayPal standard rates are 2.9% plus 30 cents per transaction. PayPal has nice tools and documentation for donate buttons. Here is my PayPal donate button:

Amazon Honor System will deduct 15% plus 15 cents from every donation; here is an example big ugly amazon donate button:

The amazon system seems poorly supported, their documentation sucks (and does not have links to the pages to setup your button etc), and some of their tools do not work (can not setup a thank you page, can not include HTML in your message, etc).
