Eudora

I am back to using Eudora Email Client for all my work email.

Good Things

1. Personalities, so I can send emails from chosen address of mine.
2. Alt-Click select a Sender in message list, and all emails from that sender will be selected. Allows you to easily and quickly delete lots of email from someone. :)
3. It is free.
4. It is faster and more reliable than Outlook Express.
5. Address book completion works really well.
6. Compressed message lists for threads.
7. Mood watcher to help you prevent flame mails. :)
8. Prune ugly headers via X-Eudora-Option hack. :)

Things I Want

1. Toolbar customization (e.g., put Message->Purge on toolbar)
2. UI for address book import and export.
3. Easier way to change Dominant email personality to be one of my other personalities.
4. Specify which header lines get included when I forward an email.
5. Be text-only be default, so I don't get the annoying vertical gray indentation line for email I am replying to, as Eudora has editing bugs with this that make me replies not as terse as I like.
