Above the Fold for Firefox

When doing web page design, it is critical to see how users with different browser window sizes will see your web page. Surprising as it may be, most users (a) use smaller screen resolutions than most developers (b) do not expand their browser windows to take up the whole screen and (c) are uncomfortable using scrollbars and thus often only see and click on the parts of your webpage which is "above the fold". (To see your current screen info, click here.)

Above the Fold adds a resize menu to the top right corner of Firefox menu bar, under the close icon: When you click on the Fold menu, it expands to allow you to select a new size for the current browser window.

Install: right-click on abovethefold.xpi and save to Desktop; then do File->Open of the saved XPI file (now on your Desktop) from Firefox and then restart Firefox. (More info.)

Credits: design and code by designed/coded by Paul and Giorgio with inspiration from Lincoln who should me a Javascript trick for doing this.
